Be careful here. These steps leave out a whole bunch of things. You might consider what i used - a kit from ipodjuice.com. Good instructions, color illustrations too! Had my new battery inside my 30 gigabite ipod video and it plays wicked-long. Sally and Chuck dig them big time.
im afraid of opening my ipod, i dont know if i can break it! but i really need to change the battery, cause now it doesnt charge much.
Thanks for sharing this. I always think that Apple purposely make it difficult for us to change the ipod battery so that they earn more money when we send our ipod back to them for a battery replacement
