Leadership: Lesson Learned from Braveheart - Freedom

4 Mar 2008

Leadership, Lesson Learned , Braveheart , Christian Living, Bible, Love, Spiritual, War, Freedom Here’s something to learn from the movie “BraveHeart” …

Every men dies… not every men really lives

Are we living our Christian lives to the full as God intended?

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

“Men don’t follow titles, they follow courage.  Jesus was a man of courage. No wonder so many follow Him even today.

They were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again he took the Twelve aside and told them what was going to happen to him. “We are going up to Jerusalem,” he said, “and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.”
Mark 10:32-34

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature[a]; rather, serve one another in love.
Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

I remember having my sins forgiven the day I got baptized. What a feeling. Since I have been freed I now have an obligation to help others come to know Christ so they too may share in the same blessing.

Many today don’t even realzize that they are slaves to sin and captive to the devil. Let us help them by leading them to Christ, the only one ale to free them.

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
John 8:34-36 (NIV)

Hope this reminds some and inspires others to live the kind of life that makes a difference in our generation
