What does it mean to hold fast to the word of life? It means to get the message out! And what is that message? LIFE! We`re to share the message of LIFE together as a Church, but we`re also called to do it independently and individually.
And to help you do this, I want to give you a simple tool€¦ an acronym€¦ that will help you share the message of LIFE with anyone:
L €“ God LOVES you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
John 3:16 says, €œ€˜For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.`
I €“ You are ISOLATED from God by your sin.
Romans 3:23 says, €œFor all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God€¦.
F €“ You can be saved through FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ.
You do this by turning from your sins, believing that He died on the cross to save you from your sins and that He was raised on the third day.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, €œFor by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
E €“ ETERNAL LIFE begins the moment you receive Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23 says, €œFor the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I want to challenge you to use this LIFE tool with someone you know over the next week! Perhaps this means taking a napkin and jotting this down for a friend over coffee. Or sharing it in a conversation with your lost loved ones.
Whatever you do, take time to show someone you know how they can have LIFE in Jesus Christ!
mc says: It’s great to see how God had changed my life lately, helping to see more of my own weakness and sins especially how prideful I am and not being being humble before God, and not listening,wanting to do things my own way, being stubborn instead of letting God mould me to be the person that He wants me to be..
